S26 Beiqing Expressway under Construction
S26 Beiqing Expressway is 1.5 km away north of Palacio De Madrid, which starts from the west of S26 highway G15 overpass to the east of North Beidi Road Viaduct and Jiamin

overpass. The construction of S26 highway not only provides a faster route from Suzhou to Shanghai but also linked Hongqiao Business District to the center of the city and a

express route to Yangtze River Delta Area.
At the moment, the project is under construction, which is expected to complete in 2018. By then, the surrounding traffic of Palacio De Madrid will be more convenient.

Zhuguang Road Tunnel Construction Expected to Complete in June, 2019

The 2.8-kilometer-long Zhuguang Road Tunnel, with four vehicles lanes in both directions, will connect the Beiqing Expressway in Minhang District and the Songze Elevated highway in Qingpu District. Zhuguang Road Tunnel’s shield section length is about 1390 meters and the segment diameter is 13.95 meters and 0.6 meters thick.
Upon its completion in 2019, the tunnel will become a major traffic channel for the center and west Hongqiao area. The tunnel is also expected to relieve traffic congestion affecting Yan’an Road Elevated Highway, which currently handles most vehicles to and from the world’s largest single-building exhibition complex as well as Hongqiao Business Zone.
The tunnel is being dug along Zhuguang and Jinfeng roads and will cross a river, a large residential area, which is Palacio De Madrid, and an international school. After its available to access, it will become more convenient for Palacio De Madrid owners to go anywhere in the city.

Shanghai Metro Line 17 will be Available in 2018

Metro Line 17 is an important traffic line in Shanghai’s Twelfth Five-Year Plan and it will connect suburban Qingpu District and the downtown area. The line, which is scheduled to open in 2018, running from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Oriental Land in Qingpu District, stretches 35.3 kilometers and will have 13 stations, including six elevated ones. It will share stations with Metro lines 2 and 10. Palacio De Madrid is about 2km away from Metro Line 17 Panlong Road Station.
In the first half of 2016, the elevated section is available for access and the underground section available for access in the beginning of 2017. The whole line will be available in 2018.

Greater Hongqiao Metro Line 13 West Extension Stations has been confirmed!
Yunle Road Station within Striking Distance!

According to the latest news from Shanghai Rail Traffic, Shanghai Metro Line 13 west extension stations have all been confirmed! This will benefit the south and west area of Greater Hongqiao, Huacao Town and Forest Manor · Palacio De Madrid.

From the latest version of subway blueprint, Shanghai Metro Line 13 west extention stations have added 6 stations in total, such as Chinese Expo North Station, Yunle Road Station, Minbei Road Station, Jizhan Road Station, Jidi Road Station and Kaixing Road Station.

1、Chinese Expo North Station
Chinese Expo North station is located in Zhuguang Road, and the south of Songze Elevated Road’s entrance, along with north-south layout of Zhuguang Road.
2、Yunle Road Station
Yunle Road Station is located in Jinfeng Road, and the southeast of Yunle Road’s entrance, along with Jinfeng Road and north-south layout. The north of the station is Shanghai American School(SAS), Jinfeng community and other residences. The west is Shanghai Lifestyle international Square and Meilin Yuan. The east is Ruisheng Garden residence and the south is Forest Manor and Shanghai Racquet Club and Apartments.

3、Minbei Road Station
Minbei Road Station is located in Lianyou Road and Minbei Road’s entrance, along with Lianyou Road and north-south layout.

4、Jizhan Road Station
Jizhan Road Station is located in Lianyou Road and the south of Jizhan Road’s entrance, along with Lianyou Road and north-south layout, the south of station enters into Nansong Tang (river).

5、Jidi Road Station
Jidi Road is located in Jidi Road, and Jisong Road’s entrance, along with Jisong Road and east-west layout.

6、Kaixing Road Station
Kaixing Road is located in Kaixing Road and the east of Jisong Road’s entrance, along with kaixing Road and Jisong Road’s entrance, east-west layout.

Kaixing Road Station connects to the current terminal station—Jinyun Road Station and direct to Pudong Zhangjiang Station. Metro Line 13 west extension stations also have great benefits for the connection of Putuo, Jiading, Minhang, and Qingpu District. It also promotes the development of the whole Hongqiao Area and upgrades the traffic here.
